July Fourth Fireworks in New York City This Independence Day, New York City was once again illuminated by fireworks. You practically needed a programme listing a short description of each one. There were the usual shells and fountains, and also fireworks that resembled cubes, smiley faces and the planet Saturn. Fireworks that lingered like twinkling stars and ones that floated up like little ghosts and just faded away. Norman Borden was lucky enough to have a 20-story view overlooking the East River and capture these images. |
